1995 – Present Interactive Media Corporation Toronto, Ontario

Systems Analyst/ Programmer

  • Designed and developed real-time Credit Card authorization and Phone Number validation middleware systems using TCP/IP communications and Tibco messaging in C programming language on a Sun Solaris unix platform.
  • Developed and supported a pseudo distributed three-tier client/server 900-Risk Management database application using FoxPro.
  • Developed interface to third party Risk Management databases using real-time serial communications (Comet) and Novell networking (Netlib) libraries.
  • Designed and developed on-line 900 inquiry application.
  • Trained Helpdesk and other Technical Team Members on Canadian and US 900 Systems.
  • Introduced and developed a Team Intranet site to provide online information for helpdesk and other staff.
  • Collaborated in the design of 900-billing/reconciliation system.
  • Improved operational efficiency by automating data and file, collection and distribution over Wide Area and Local Networks.
  • Developed real-time distributed charge back system over NetWare WAN.

  • Application and report development in FoxPro 2.6 taking full advantage of Rushmore technology and SQL for all aspects of the business including billing, tele-services, finance, network services and equal access.
  • Enhanced and debugged existing multi-user Accounts Receivable/ Order Entry application.
  • Assisted in database administration duties such as data integrity issues for FoxPro databases located on Novell Network.
  • Worked closely with Engineering and Operations department to increase their efficiency and productivity.
  • Developed Switch and Dialer load utilities for ANI’s and Authorization codes.
  • Designed and Implemented Dialer removal information/ work order system.
  • Worked with software such as Excel, Word, ProComm+, PCAnywhere, FoxPro, Norton Utilities and operating systems Windows, DOS and Novell networking.
